Grateful for a successful PowWow

DREAM - DISCOVER - CREATE

"Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for."

Gratitude brings a positive attitude to life. Witnessing people being grateful for the gifts they receive leaves me humbled - this is exactly the way I felt after our PowWow last Thursday, May 17th.

I mean really...How many people can say they've PowWow'ed in a real tent? Or even PowWow'ed with a fine group of ladies at all... EmpowHer LA had the magical opportunity to create community in our collaboration with Wonder Tent Parties. We transformed an outdoor space into a one of a kind environment where we could reflect and connect with one another.

We are also grateful for our partnership with Clementine for the delicious food that refueled our bodies and minds from breakfast to lunch to our sweet treat to end and make our day!

Each of the women welcomed each component and learned throughout the day. They embraced getting to know one another and their life stories whether it be an obstacle in their job, a struggle with their child or something they are struggling to face within themselves. They gave themselves the gift of time and realized how much they need it for themselves.

Our PowWow on May 17th left me feeling an abundance of gratitude for our participates and sponsors. We curated a special curriculum incorporating the mind, body and spirit. We dreamt with Amanda from Flight of the Heart as she guided us through a Soul Journey meditation. We journeyed through the discovery process and re-aligned our values with me, in an effort to have more choice and fulfillment in their lives. Claudia's ArThrough process culminated the learning experience and intentions by showing us how to paint free of thought and explore our emotions to manifest our intentions.

You never know who is going to walk through the doors at any PowWow, but all of these women were a beautiful testament of the exact environment we are trying to create - a safe space for all women to come as you are, listen, be heard and step into their personal power.

Look for our PowWow's to come in the Fall of 2018, the EmpowHer Group and our other fun experiential events in the upcoming months.

With gratitude,
