C-O-M-M-U-N-I-T-Y is one of my top 5 core values and one of the main reasons I launched EmpowHer Purpose. And that's what this collage of amazing talented and inspiring women from the Opportunity Knocks podcast mean to me, from a neuroscientist, to a entertainment marketing exec turned producer, to a non-profit expert turned sunwear clothing line founder and so many more. These courageous women have lived and learned transitions and trails. When I launched EmpowHer, my first blog post was called Women Really Need Each Other, and let's face it, that statement still stands true in 2022! Studies show when women come together we are powerful and can achieve anything we put our minds to! What we know coming out of the pandemic, we as a collective society are in desperate need of true connection, heck even the introverts are seeking ways to re-engage as it has been far too many months separated from real life.
We know women are in need of connection and community as it allows them to gather (in person or digitally) feel seen, heard and acknowledged. The accountability also allows women to release their fear and step into their most confident selves to move forward toward their dreams and goals. One thing is clear from all my years of working in leading teams, coaching and group facilitation your network is your net worth, or your community is your calling. I know that without my tribe I could not have launched Empowher Purposeor the Opportunity Knocks podcast. If you show up for women they will show up and support you - trust and loyalty run deep. When we are first getting started in our entrepreneurial journey, it can be overwhelming and having resources, a coach and an intimate community can help you get to where you want to go.
