Dear Beautiful EmpowHer Community,

Today, my heart is overflowing.

Last week, we gathered together at Next Health for our Fall Gather MembHership event—a night woven with community, connection, wellness, and the kind of confidence that rises from the inside out. We breathed together, we listened deeply, we held space for one another, and we remembered what becomes possible when we show up as our whole, authentic selves. Remember manifestation happens when we are not only clear, but fully whole and fully aligned. Yesterday, we celebrated 8 years of EmpowHer Purpose.

Eight years of women saying yes to themselves.

Eight years of choosing courage over comfort.

Eight years of community, growth, breath, healing, and purpose.

But many of you may not know is why I launched EmpowHer Purpose - there are a multitude but one main one...

The Heart of EmpowHer: My “Why”

EmpowHer Purpose was never created “by chance.”It was a calling—a pull from something much deeper in my soul incubated for 8 years with my original womens group that I would "try" things out on - lucky them. Ha!My mother Karin Valenzuela had a long arduous journey with Alzheimer’s, it was extremely painful to care for and watch this strong inspiring woman wither away to a shell of herself. I felt an urgency to honor her strength, her legacy, and the way she lived with unwavering heart. I launched EmpowHer Purpose on November 17th, 2017 to honor women to pursue their purpose and guide them to their paths. And as life would have it two years later to the day, she passed away. By chance? I know not.

I know it was a divine message…

that this work, this community, this purpose was always meant to be and for me.

When I first began EmpowHer, I kept meeting women overflowing with ideas, dreams, and gifts… yet stuck. Sitting with brilliance they never fully brought to life. So I built, designed, wrote curriculum and facilitated women’s groups—a 9-month journey from identifying their purpose to stepping fully onto their path.

And since then, EmpowHer has evolved through many iterations, always rooted in three main things:

business, wellness and community.

Because what I’ve learned—over and over again—is that transformation doesn’t happen alone.

Connection is the medicine.

Purpose is the compass.

And wellness must live at the forefront of our success, especially in a world that has become more disconnected than ever.

So when I say today is sacred, I mean it.

It is not by chance that eight years ago this work began...

and not by chance that it continues to deepen, expand, and serve.

Why I Give Rose Crystal Hearts

At every event, I place a small rose crystal heart in your hands. It’s not just a token, it’s a reminder.

A reminder that the world needs more love.

A reminder that you are love.

A reminder that when we soften, we actually strengthen.

A reminder that love—real love—is courageous, receptive, and expansive.

I share these rose hearts because they symbolize the essence of EmpowHer Purpose:

to open, to receive, to remember your wholeness, and to carry that love forward.

As We Move Toward the Holidays

This season asks us to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what truly matters.

It invites us to be present—not perfect.

It invites us to unmask and show up as ourselves.

It invites us to lead with our hearts, our truth, and our presence.

Women are so deeply conditioned to give, to carry, to push.

But here is the real invitation of this moment:

Receive.

Receive support.

Receive love.

Receive your own wisdom.

Receive the life that is trying to meet you.

The way we manifest more is by aligning more.

And alignment requires honesty, vulnerability, authenticity, and choosing to show up wholeheartedly—even when we feel a little wobbly.

You did that last week.

You do it every day.

And it shows.
